Performance and Application
The pH value of 3% aqueous dispersion is 6.5-6.8. It is a plasticizer, lubricant, and dispersant for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and latex, as well as a lubricant for thermoplastic plastics such as PVC. A 0.5% to 2.0% aqueous solution can prevent adhesion of raw films. It is obtained by esterification of stearic acid with diethylene glycol.
