Note: Method for measuring pH: Add 50ml of isopropanol and 30ml of distilled water to a 150ml beaker, and adjust the pH of this solution to 6.8-7. Weigh 10g (accurate to 0.01g) of the sample, add 70ml of the above water solution, stir evenly, and measure with a pH meter.
Performance and Application
1. This product has stable performance and does not react with most cosmetic raw materials. It is stable in acidic and alkaline media and can be mixed with anionic and cationic surfactants respectively; This product is used as a softener and has certain lubricating, wetting, plasticizing, solubilizing, and dispersing properties;
2. In hair care products, it can partially or completely replace white mineral oil to give hair luster and also have a shaping effect. It can be used as a plasticizer and thickener for hair gel resins;
3. In skincare products, it is used as a lubricant for non greasy sunscreen to give the skin a pleasant and dry feeling; In skin lubricants, their solubility and wettability can be used to remove oil stains;
4. In shower products, low-temperature transparent bath oil and hand sanitizer can be made;
5. Used as an anti adhesive and valve lubricant in aerosols;
6. In beauty cosmetics, as a carrier of pigments, it can produce a non greasy and non sticky film; It can be used as a pigment dispersant and coupling agent, and can couple a large amount of aromatic oil to make it soluble in mineral oil;
7. In the chemical industry, it is used as an intermediate for synthesizing special performance surfactants. For example, when SPO-20 is added to the product with ethylene oxide, a 1% aqueous solution will turn into a thick colloid near its cloud point, which can be restored to water after cooling.
